PaidTwice

Terms of service

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Who we are

PaidTwice (paidtwice.vercel.app) is run by Dhali Services, a business based in India ("we", "us"), whose postal address is Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

These terms are a contract between you and us. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so, and "you" means that organisation.

PaidTwice is a business tool for people aged 18 or over. By using it, you agree to these terms, which include our refund policy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

PaidTwice finds possible duplicate payments in accounts-payable exports (CSV or XLSX files) that you choose to scan.

The scan runs entirely in your web browser. Your file is never uploaded to our servers, and we never receive or store it.

On a paid plan, you can choose to save an audit. We then store only the findings shown on screen, never the source file.

Accounts

An account needs your email address and a password. Your name and company are optional. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider and never stored in readable form.

Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, so tell us straight away via our contact form if you suspect misuse.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This removes your profile and saved audits. It does not cancel a subscription, so cancel first.

Acceptable use

Use PaidTwice lawfully and only with data you are entitled to use. Do not:

  • access or try to access other people's accounts or data, or our systems, without permission;
  • probe or test our systems for vulnerabilities (please report security issues via our contact form);
  • disrupt or overload the service, or access it with bots or scripts;
  • resell, rent or sublicense PaidTwice, or share access beyond what your plan allows;
  • reverse engineer it, except where the law allows, or use it to build a competing product; or
  • store unlawful or infringing content, including in notes.

Plans, payment and Paddle as Merchant of Record

  • Free: scan files and see totals and top findings.
  • Audit Pass: a one-time payment for 30 days of full access. It does not renew.
  • Pro: a monthly or annual subscription.
  • Firm: agreed by quote. Your quote sets the price and any special terms, and it prevails over these terms where they differ.

Prices are shown in US dollars on our pricing page. At checkout, Paddle may show your local currency and adds sales tax or VAT where required.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle's buyer terms, shown at checkout, also apply to your purchase. For help with PaidTwice itself, contact us via our contact form.

We may change prices, but not for a pass you have already bought. For Pro, we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies at renewal, so you can cancel first.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account page, through the link in your Paddle receipt, at paddle.net, or by asking us via our contact form. Your subscription then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and does not renew.

You can get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first purchase of an Audit Pass or a Pro subscription. After 14 days, there are no partial refunds for unused time. See our refund policy.

Your data and confidentiality

Your files and data belong to you. Your file never leaves your device, so we cannot see, store or recover it. Keep your own copy.

If you save an audit, we store only what our privacy policy describes, and we use it only to provide PaidTwice to you.

We keep saved audits confidential. We never sell them or use them for advertising, and we share them only with the service providers listed in our privacy policy or where the law requires. We look at them only when you ask (for example, for support) or when needed for security or legal reasons.

Saved audits can include personal data, such as a sole-trader vendor's name. For that data, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:

  • process it only to provide PaidTwice, on your documented instructions (these terms and your use of the service);
  • keep it confidential and secure;
  • use only the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy, telling you before adding or replacing one so you can object;
  • help you handle requests from individuals and meet your own data protection duties;
  • tell you without undue delay about any personal data breach affecting it;
  • give you the information you reasonably need to show compliance, and allow for and contribute to reasonable audits, including inspections, by you or an auditor you appoint;
  • tell you straight away if we think an instruction from you breaks data protection law;
  • where we access it from outside the UK or EU, protect the transfer with the EU standard contractual clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum; and
  • delete it when you delete it or your account.

No professional advice and accuracy disclaimer

PaidTwice gives decision support only. Its findings are possible duplicates, not confirmed ones. It is not accounting, audit, legal or tax advice.

Check every finding against your own records before you contact a vendor, ask for money back or change your accounting records. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

Results depend on the data in your file and how it is formatted. PaidTwice can miss duplicates and can flag payments that are not duplicates. We do not guarantee that it will find every duplicate, or that any finding is correct or recoverable.

As far as the law allows, PaidTwice is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep PaidTwice available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may pause it for maintenance or security.

We may change features. If a change materially reduces a plan you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can. The Free plan may change or end at any time.

Intellectual property

We and our licensors own PaidTwice, including its software, design, content, name and logo. While you have access, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your business purposes (and, on a Firm plan, as your quote allows).

You keep all rights in your files and saved data. We may use any feedback you send us freely.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, and however a claim arises (including in negligence):

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data;
  • we are not liable for loss from acting on findings you did not verify, from payments you made or did not recover, or from your dealings with vendors; and
  • our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for PaidTwice in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and USD 100.

Where the Australian Consumer Law lets us limit liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because you misused PaidTwice (by breaking the acceptable use rules or the law, or by using data you had no right to use), you will cover our reasonable resulting losses and costs, including legal fees. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence. This does not apply to the extent we caused the problem.

Termination

You can close your account at any time (see "Accounts").

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and let you put things right.

If we close your account for any other reason, including discontinuing PaidTwice, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid fees.

When your account closes, your access ends and we delete your data as our privacy policy describes. Terms meant to last, such as limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

If you are a consumer, or mandatory local laws give you rights that a contract cannot exclude (such as the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law), those rights still apply, and nothing in these terms limits them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will post the new version on paidtwice.vercel.app with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless it is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you do not agree, stop using PaidTwice and cancel before then. If you keep using it, the new terms apply.
